We had to stop Rifampin while on zith and mepron... I think it was in the literature for mepron.

Technically, you can...but you it's not recommended.
Mepron increases the blood levels of Rifampin, and Rifampin decreases the effectiveness of Mepron, so they have to be adjusted. And, they're both very hard on the body.
I almost took the combination, but after a good discussion with the LLMD, we decided against it.

Not Rifampin, but you can take Bactrim DS w/ the z & m. Working wonders for me!
