My LLND is big on treating Lyme before anything else. Is there a thread that addresses which should be treated first? I'm not sure if I have Babs or not, right now my main concern is Bart and Lyme since it's obvious I have both of those.

Here's what I've been told on this subject: that Lyme and coinfections compete with each other. When there's a heavy load of borrelia bacteria (Lyme) in the body, it doesn't allow the coinfections to take as strong a presence.
Since I am using Rife therapy, I've been advised to go after Bart first. This is because if Lyme was knocked down first, Bart, which multiplies faster than Lyme would take a stronger hold on the body and Bart can have effects on the body that are more life-threatening than Lyme, such as heart problems.
So according to this source, Bart should be attacked first, then Lyme, then other co's.
I am not a doctor and I'm merely sharing what I was told by someone who is also not a doctor.

I was under the impression that it's best to try to put the Lyme in check first, since it's Bb that suppresses the immune system. If Bb goes unchecked, it's my understanding that's when the other co-infections can then get carried away.
You can stay on top of where you are at with Bb by doing a periodic CD-57.
Also, with guidance, you can treat Lyme and cos somewhat simultaneously. Need a good LLMD.
Best, Tammy

Sounds good. I have lots of heart palps, maybe I'll address this next follow up with my Doc. When i was infected 8 years ago I was coincidentally on doxy 100 mg for acne. Its pure speculation, but maybe Lyme was controlled while Bart got out of hand.

Can't you treat at the same time? I am currently on Zithromax, Flagyl and Rifampin which will kill off bart and lyme
