I have read old posts about colds but none of them are recent.
This is my first cold that I've had in about 5 years. I was just wondering if the general take on this is still that it's a good sign???
Thanks for any thoughts!

- For some, it is. But any cold is a strain on your body and can cause damage or get worse. Try to stay ahead of it. Rest as you need, etc. Hopefully, it will not involve coughing and will be gone before you know it.
No cold is ever is ever "good" for me as by body is just so run down and damaged. I get violent coughs that last for 2 months at a time. To me, any deep cough can really just rip so much tissue in the chest and in the ears - and the neck/spine.
What sometimes helps me (more so for head colds than lung infections, in my experience), if taken at at the very first sign and then at regular intervals:
Black Elderberry Extract
Lomatium tincture (LDM-100)
Osha Root tincture
Vitamin C, etc.
Hot liquids, soups
Keeping a kettle gently steaming on the stove.
And, if you have a RIFE machine - the instant you become aware of a cold having left its calling card, work though the common virus frequencies. I'm ready for that this year. -

I started catching colds/flus once I started getting better. I think it's good in that your body is fighting it.

me too. First, I caught everything that went around within 5 miles of me. Then, I didn't get sick for two years. Now, I'm getting colds again. I think it is a good sign.

- It's how well you are able to fight the cold, too, that matters. May it be quicker than a fox. -
