I've read where people get muscle testing which tells them what they should treat (i.e. lyme, parasites, etc)

Where can I learn about this and how do I go about finding someone who does it?

Hopefully others will have some good ideas. I would suggest looking in the "alternative" health care professional arena.

There are some MD's that do it, but most are the "naturopath doctors" or "chiropractic doctors" or "doctors of oriental medicine" or acupuncturists, particularly those that use NAET. Some of the psychologists who use EFT or other health care practitioners that use energy medicine also can do this. Some of the people that do this are also happy to teach you to do it for yourself. This is the most empowering, as you can use it to manage supplements and the like.

bcb1200 - I started looking for this in my area because my LLMD did not know about some of the things I was asking about alternative health. She recommended I find a naturopath that is friendly to Lyme patients to help answer my questions. - most doctors have very little nutritional education.

I started with a search on google... I live in a very rural area so my town would not help... and my state is large so I used my area code as a search term. I also searched naturopath, "energetic testing" "holistic doctors" I'm not sure which of these searches was what led me to the right place... keep trying. Let me know what part of mass you are in... because I am originally from Mass and might be able to recommend someone.

I got lucky and found an online health magazine and started reading the ads. I got even more lucky and I saw a familiar face... and she is a naturopath. She works in an office with a chiropractor, but she is not a doctor herself.

She does muscle testing and the first two visits were free. The first visit she tested for what the issues were... she found parasites and bacteria were issues... and the spleen and the immune system were having issues.

The second visit I brought in our supplements and medications and she did muscle testing to see what was helping/not helping and causing problems... then she took all the things that are helping and tested them against the one thing she was recommending we add. (detoxosode)

She offered a discounted price for prepaying for 12 visits ($200) Pay as you go would be $25 a visit.

I signed him up for the 12 visits and we will go once a week until his symptoms improve... or he is more stable. Each week she will measure again.

Be forewarned... it looks like hocus pocus... they have you hold your arm out and press on acupuncture points until the arm gives out. At first I did not believe it, so I had her go through the points again... really pushing up on my arm this time and again, my arm released when she pressed on my weak area (for me thyroid)

She did the test on my son, but this time she had me hold on to him... said I am an extention of him as long as we are touching. She pressed points on him and my arm released for immune system and spleen. Then for parasite #2 (no idea what is in that jar) and bacteria #4 (again - no idea)

I believe the woman we saw was very accurate in her recommendations and that is why I am going to have my son continue to see her.

If I could afford it for both of us, I would have done myself too... adults are $300 for 12 visits and $35 per visit on a pay as you go.

I hope this helps... and if you are interested in traveling to Glens Falls, NY to see the same woman we see... let me know. I'll P.M. you her name.

May health be with you!

Toxic mold was suppressing our immune systems, causing extreme pain, brain fog and magnifying symptoms. Four days after moving out, the healing began.

Google Autonomic Response Testing, Muscle testing, energetic testing. Search posts on Lymenet on this subject. Check tensor testing.
and ignore the people who call it woodoo. They are innocent and uninformed.

It is pure physics, based on polarities. minus and plus, just like there is no sun without a moon. Everything has two sides. There is not a thing in this world that does not have two sides to it.

ART as well as tensoring works amazingly well and helped me to become a healthy person again.

Take care.

You might also search for electrodermal screening or bioenergetic testing which is a similar way to see which infections are in your body. It is truly amazing and it works, so long as you go to an experienced practitioner.
