My daughter (11 years old) had a blood test for lymes that came back positive. She is on amoxycilin for 21 days. Doc wants to then wait a couple of weeks then do a western blot.

Is there anything else we should be doing? I want to proactive. She has chronic headaches which led us to take her to the doctor. We did not ever see a rash so do not know how long she has had the disease. She has been on antibiotics for 14 days now and still having headaches.

We live in Ocean City, MD. 2.5 hours from Baltimore/DC/Philly/Va Beach.

Thanks for any help!

Go to Seeking a Doctor and find a specialist ASAP!!!! It will take awhile to get in and by that time you will have run out of antibiotics... bigtime.
