well, I know we are sick everyday. but it when it comes to flu/and colds i dont seem to catch them..how come?

And then there's me this year; I've been getting every freakin' thing that comes down the pike.
And my stomach feels bug-y again today, so go figure.
Yet my overall sx are still hanging on--especially air hunger, anxiety and vision issues.
If I live to be 200, I will never understand this disease.

I haven't gotten sick much since getting LD. The few times I got strep throat, it only lasted a couple of days. I think I had the flu last year and it was over very quickly by taking Tamiflu.
Other than strep and flu, I have not gotten any colds at all. My husband catches things and I never get them. Very odd!

My theory.......if you are really ill, your immune system leans toward being over active, thus its in over drive protecting us from other illnesses. Or maybe it could even be under active and you catch absolutely everything. As we get well, the immune system may level out, thus we start to catch things as a normal person might catch them.
