Hi,
I had lyme and co tests with igenex. My llmd doesn't think I have lyme ( only ++ on 41 I think), but my bart did come back positive( I forget IgG or IgM, but it was 160, with normal being less than 20 I think.) I have been on levaquin for almost one month. I haven't been feeling that much better, and didn't have a herx. My llmd said that normally it takes a month to clear bart, but because I have had mine for so long, maybe a month more. Has anyone treated bart for longer than a month and gotten better? Has anyone not herxed? Should I try another abx?
thanks!

YES!

RIFAMPIN and MINO!

over a 3 month period then I platued, so we moved on to treating babesia.

I am not sure if we are going to re-treat Bartonella.

Do you have severe symptoms?

I did and felt really crappy.

The treatment made a huge change, but it is one year later and the pain is still horrific.

I am not a doctor. I have no clue.

Thanks! Do you think I should stick with levaquin for another month, or switch to an alternate abx?
