Hi all..I have been reading your posts for quite a while now and they have been so helpful. My results came in today for my Western Blot.. Do these look positive to you?
IgG 30+ 58+ 31-39 IND
IgM 41++ 58+ 83 - 93+ 39 IND
Thanks for your help! Be well!

well, it sure does... though I still do not understand what's the difference between IgG and IgM and why there are different positive bands...

do a search on the forum for "western blot" and you'll find a myriad of topics like yours.
your results definitely look positive, but you need to go to a LLMD who will diagnose you based on serology and your symptoms, history, etc.

Thank you for that! I new in my heart all along that I had it..I have way too many symptoms..so, in a strange way, it was a relief to finally get the results. At least I feel validated with the way I have been feeling.
I guess I'm joining the "family"...my prayers are with you all..

Jan our prayers are with you.
Please take this time to read and reread everything you can find to help you get the best outcome when you start treating.
Your LLMD will have suggestions, and there are many here to help work through the worst and the least of the herxing symptoms we go through getting well.
Everything in treating Lyme is important to prepare for battle. Help if you need it, ready to eat meals, soaking supplies, sugar substitute, etc. etc.
Researching MCIDS may help in understanding just what we fight--and know this battle is not easy---but it can be won...
