Can babesia be the cause of tight muscles? I have read on this boiard that severa people got rid of their headaches at the base of the skull when they treated babesia, so I'm wondering if those headaches felt like tight muscles around the head... Maybe, if babs restricts blood flow, it can cause the "pulling" sensations?
Also, has anybody tried cupping for babesia?

I used to feel like my head was in a vice or wearing several bathing caps all too tight.

It was not caused by Babesia and it lasted for a year and a half. My worst condition (I consider this my worst) was caused by Bartonella and Toxic root canals and dental cavitations. As soon as I removed these infected
areas surgically and other treatments, things started to ease off.

Bartonella loves the occiput, jaw and head area.

I have tried some cupping, but did not feel comfortable with it and I stopped it.

Dr. K. was my doctor. I also had a lot of Neural Therapy - he is the expert in it. I was allergic to all major toxic metals (mercury lead copper nickel) and it was very difficult for me to get the toxic metals out because the immune system was blind to them causing allergic dysregulations until I was treated by Allergie Immun. It is also good to check KPU.

Not all sweats are caused by Babesia.

Take care.

thanks GIGI, however I have night swats, air hunger greyish tone of skin, loss of appetite, many signs of babs infection.. that does not mean I don't have bart even though I tested negative, but a trial of rifampin and mino did not change much except add to my dizzyness... I do not have root canals and I have been chelating heavy metals for more than a month, but nothing relieves these terrible headaches and tightness... although cranio sacral therapy does help to remove the brain fog... I also have this mettalic taste in the mouth from time to time which makes me think of iron in the blood...
