Last year tested low positive Lyme, Jan, neg Bart hensalae, negative Bart Quintana, march same thing. 6 mos of Iv in June, igg was positive for both strains. My llmd thought that the 6 mos of Iv brought it out. Does this sound reasonable?

It's possible. Both Bartonella strains went positive on me after about 6 months of Doxy (and 1 week of Bactrim).

I have heard of this happening many times. The abx could break up the cyst forms and biofilms where the Lyme was hiding, bringing it out and causing it to be more detectable to testing.
I have even heard of those who tested negative being instructed to re-test after abx, although I was positive from the start. Reasonable? Yes.

Would the igg means it shows you were exposed or it came out? Why wouldn't it be IGm if active?

Lyme/coinfections mess with the immune system so much that it is not surprising test results would run contrary to conventional wisdom that says IgM = active infection, IgG = old/past infection.
Also, if they happened to miss the IgM because it happened between tests, it would only show up as IgG (according to the traditional view of how antibodies work)...

One weird thing I noticed on my Bartonella tests were that my heneselae IgG came back 1:256 and next to that it stated it was a recent infection, while my IgM was still normal.
IgG can mean a current or past infection. Increased levels between testing suggest an active infection. So I'm not sure if IgM is needed in this case to show it's active.
