Can anybody tell me if they have been on the generic pill cefuroxime for lyme? We just seen the LLMD and he prescribed a double dose of this but can be toxic. Just wondering for some feedback please.....

My daughter is currently on Ceftin and it has done wonders for her. After 1 year on various antibiotics this is what the doc gave her. I have seen the most improvement in her since starting this drug and she has had no problems at all.

My daughter also took Ceftin for several months and noticed alot of improvement especially when she paired it with Flagyl. I think the standard dose is 500mg twice per day.
