I was just wondering if Biaxin is only useful against lyme. is it useful against co infections. I know that it can be used to treat mycoplasma pneumonia. but I mean like can it be used to treat bartonella and babesia etc?

The book "The Lyme Disease Solution" says that rifampin with Biaxin is good for bart (p.255) and Bactrim with Biaxin is good for babs (p. 258.
Don't know if the Biaxin is good alone though.

I am on it with Suprax. I will speak to LLMD this week, so I will inquire.

Yeah, my old LLMD's nurse said it treated Babesia when I asked, but honestly I think she had no clue what she was talking about. lol. She said some stuff that was really off the wall. Bart does seem more likely from what I've read.
