my llmd gave me these testing strips. i use them for saliva or urine.

i understand you're supposed to be between 6 nd 6.5 for normal which is a medium green.

i always test at 6, which is pure yellow, meaning i am very acidic.

any ways to get more normal? do you do any of this testing?

Yes, you have to change your diet and eat more alkaline foods. For example, those green drinks such as New Chapter Berry Green will raise your alkalinity. Dark green leafy vegetables are alkaline. You can Google a chart for the full range of alkaline foods.

Pathogens cannot thrive in an alkaline environment but thrive in an acidic one.

Lyme yes or anything that will cause illness, even cancer. The best state for the body to be in is an alkaline state.

Hmmm? I have severe OCD, and according to my book on it, OCD-ers are too alkaline, which might explain why I seem to do better on junk and acid foods, as opposed to salads. I'd love to test my urine and saliva.

Being over-alkaline is as bad, too. I also do poorly on alkaline foods, but in eating healthy, that's primarily what I eat. I have to supplement HCL, and I've never cut out coffee because it is acidic.

You can buy PH strips at a pharmacy or on line. You just urinate on a piece of the paper and measure it against a color chart that is provided. To test the PH of your saliva you just put a piece of the paper in your mouth.

I bought ph strips on ebay because up here in the boonies pharmacies are the size of thimbles and when you ask about ph strips they look at you like you have 3 heads.

I got 300 for $15
