Hi,

I will be turning 65 yo in Dec. and I live in Mass. We have no pre-existing condition clause.

I will probably be needing long-term iv antibiotics with home care infusion services.

Anyone have any success with payments from Medicare Part D (which company?), or Medicare Advantage programs (which companies).

I can get original Medicare Part B, a supplement plan and Part D.
Or, I can get Medicare Part B plus a Medicare Advantage Program including drugs.

Or, I have a small business and can get PPO coverage thru that-mostly Tufts Health plan or Harvard Community Health Plan.

Does anyone have experience with a Health Saving Account?

If anyone has had insurance pay for long-term iv antibiotics with home health care infusion, please let me know.
Much appreciated.

I have no clue about anything when it comes to Medicare.

I would think it would be very hard to get Medicare coverage for IV abx.

The Health Savings Account is usually a good thing .. as long as I am understanding you correctly.

There should be lots of people here who have had ins cover IV and home infusion.

Good luck with it!! [Smile]
