One of my eyelids will be just slightly delayed in opening when I am starting to get sleepy at night. It is fairly minor at this point, but it concerns me a little. Anybody have anything like this?

Could be an early sign of myasthenia gravis.

I had a drooping eye as one of my first Lyme symptoms and with this came terrible pain and it didn't open at all upon waking in the morning. The drooping is slowly resolving with treatment but it still opens last every morning and everytime I take a nap.

My droopy left eyelid led to a diagnosis of the auto-immune neuro-muscular disease Myasthenia Gravis. However, along with all my other symptoms, another doctor said "Lyme." All my MG blood tests have been negative, but my Lyme test was Igenex positive with four bands and positive PCR. I'd like to believe that in curing Lyme, I will cure the MG symptoms, but I guess one could have MG permanently even after the Lyme abates.
