Who has had either Coram or Critical Care nursing agency in NYC? Esp for IVIG and/or port care? How were the nurses? Did they follow clean/sterile protocol?
I know of one person who has Coram for IVIG in NYC and finds them good. I am switching pharmacies and nursing agencies, because of all the nursing horrors I have gone through over the last number of months---a nurse reinserting a needle in my port, nurses not using gloves or even hand washing when they flush me repeatedly, and on and on.
Any feedback on other specific nursing agencies, and the pharmacies that they are connected with, would be welcome, too. Thank you!

I just got a call the a company named coram was waiting on approval for me for IV therapy? I am in queens and was surprised by the call.
I thought it was denied due to only 2 bands on my western blot. Glad to hear that they are good. You have a port or Picc line? My LLMD says his Coram nurses are great?

That's good to know that your LLMD says that about Coram.
I have a port, so the clean/sterile procedures are even more essential, because if I got sepsis, it would mean emergency surgery to have it removed!! And it took a year of relapsing and suffering horribly before anyone would rx a port and IV again after my PICC line developed a leak. Of course, the protocol is essential whether it's a PICC or port.
