Today, my LLMD recommended that I do a blood panel with this lab that looks only for DNA/PCR of about 20 coinfections. I'm assuming that there is a high likelihood of false negatives, but a positive is real. Has anyone had experience with this lab?

A friend of mine who has lyme said that SpiroStat was better than Igenex. My doctor didn't know about SpiroStat and wouldn't use them when I asked about it.

Call the Dr of the lab ..he is a really nice person and will explain the difference of their testing. There is not a high negative with the way they are doing this.

NeuroScience is another test that has a high accuracy rate as it is a T cell response and not an antibody test. That one test only against the Lyme pathogen with your T cell response. Thus NO false results. Both are very expensive but worth it.

Sk8ter, can you say more about the T cell test? Is it only for Lyme and not other pathogens? Do you know if others with Lyme have done it?
