Been feeling very sluggish lately headaches, panic, lil more pain... I was doing great on lower dose doxy 200 mg a day but moved up to 400mg a day... I'm beginning to think my symptoms are from yeast... Tounge was covered in white yesterday and slightly today. Also have had bloating and stomach issues...

Has anyone taken a break from abx to let yeast symptoms die down?

Hey AH,

For yeast you can try, Phytostan by Integrative Therapeutics. My LLMD put me on it a year ago or so, because nystatin, diflucan and nothing else was working for me. This stuff is amazing, no problems since being on it!

Part of it was I was not careful with what I was eating. Avoid yeast at all costs, read all labels of the food you eat. They put it in everything! Be very careful!!! Apparently it Yeast offers a "bitter" taste to the food...

Also avoid simple sugar!!! Here is a link to view the product.

I usually buy it off of Amazon.com

Hope this helps!

Sounds exactly like yeast!

Excellent probiotics:

VSL#3

Theralac

Candida diet and elimination:

Yeast symptoms list:

You may need to speak to your dr about Diflucan.. something is needed to KILL it out.

(get hold of your diet too)

-- Candex is also a good yeast killer --

My diet is pretty spot on... I had a little to much fruit I think last week when I had the flu and ran out of some of my favorite snacks this week at work so had to use a low sugar substitute.

I'll check out all the links... If the symptoms take any longer to subside I may go off for a couple days atleast it will give me a chance to feel not overwhelmed by pills for awhile.

Does anyone know if you can get theralac at whole foods?

I don't THINK you can get Theralac there... but.. ?

ANYONE can get yeast (and probably WILL) if they are on long term antibiotics. Diet helps stave it off ... but it's always there waiting to pounce.

Get a yeast KILLER while you're at it. (see the first link above) -- candida diet and elim --
