Was doing so well eating low carb, non gluten, low glycemic, sugar free diet. Yes, I would cheat about 1x / week and have pizza with my family. But otherwise was good. I'm on Nystatin and enough antifungals (GSE, Oil of O, Olive Leaf Extract) that I haven't had any yeast issues as of yet.
But these past 2 weeks, I've been very bad. I can't help it. 9 months restricting foods I love (bread, etc) is too much.
I think I'm going on the "moderation" bandwagon and will monitor my tongue for progress.

I know what you mean. I went from juicing and not eating sugar, to eating almost anything I want. One day I just fell off the wagon. I haven't had any yeast issues so far.
I think the moderation bandwagon is okay as long as you don't have yeast problems.

I ate bread, but it was Ezekiel Bread. I ate tortillas, which I made small pizzas on. I ate Van's frozen gluten-free waffles topped with a fried egg almost daily to take my Mepron with.
I ate potatoes (skin on). Brown rice. Oatmeal.
I'm not a believer in no starchy carbs. I have never been a big sugar eater, so that part wasn't difficult for me. I think sugar is bad for everyone, not just Lyme patients.
I think that if your body is screaming for foods you've restricted, it might be telling you that you're not getting enough of something.

I am not on a strict diet, but when I started on Flagyl and had pasta I felt AWFUL! I am trying to go as light as I can on carbs for right now, but I know it is tough!

I get my pasta fix using Tikydada (sp?) Brown Rice Pasta. It is actually pretty good, and I happen to be Italian so I need pasta once a week
