Dr Sutter on curezone has a Coker Liver Flush
Lotta people report good success and it's much easier to administer than Clarkia's flush or some of the others
See what ya think...
LIVER FLUSH
Supplies: 1. Two ounces of fresh squeezed lemon juice. (1-2 lemons) 2. Ultra Phos liquid. Do NOT do a liver flush without this. 3. Olive oil. Regular extra virgin oil will do. 4. Coca Cola Classic. Bottle, NOT can. (yes, it can be a plastic bottle) 5. Apple Cider. Not apple juice. It doesnt have to be organic apple cider either, just regular old apple cider you can get at the grocery store is fine.
For three days drink one quart of apple cider per day. Add 90 drops of Ultra Phos liquid to each quart. Drink the apple cider throughout the day. With meals, between meals, it doesnt matter. On the third day of drinking the apple cider, three hours after your evening meal, you do the liver flush.
Mix together the following: 2 ounces of lemon juice 4 ounces of olive oil. 4 ounces of Coca Cola Classic. (Shake the Coke a few times to get all the fizz out).
Stir this mixture together. DO NOT SHAKE. Stir vigorously then drink. Immediately lay down on your right side, knees slightly bent, head properly supported, for 30 minutes. Then 15 minutes on your left side and 15 minutes on your back. Then get up and move around a bit. Nothing strenuous.
Results: The oil usually passes within a few hours. If you experience any nausea treat it with ginger or peppermint tea. The nausea leaves once the oil has passed. Within 12 to 24 hours the debris that was congesting the liver will pass. Green, pea size stones, dead parasites and lymphatic debris. Drink plenty of distilled water the next few days.
The effects of the Liver Flush are quite dramatic and very rewarding. You are literally cleaning you bodies blood filter. Very important in any recovery process.
The liver flush should be done only AFTER a minimum of two weeks on an antiparasite program. For maitanence, after you get your health back, twice a year is sufficient. Do a two week antiparasite program along with a good colon cleanse topped off on day 14 by a liver flush.

- Cola is never a good thing, IMO. I also think that much oil at one time is never a good thing. My ND strongly advises against any kind of oil/lemon flush.
Rather than a flush, on-going support is best. Our livers are not like car radiators.
Just my opinion, which does differs from others on the matter of "flushing" our organs - it can be too much stress & surprise.
Gentle exercise, with key nutrients, is best. Gentle exercise gets the liver moving, on its own terms. A high fiber diet, too.
Warm Cod Liver Oil packs are nice. Gentle visceral massage, too, such as done by those trained in that aspect of the Upledger Technique. -

Keebler,
While I usually agree - I've killed so much bacteria and so many parasites in last 2 months that my liver needs a little pushing.
I can just tell.
Plus alot of people who do liver flushes experience a release of dead parasites
*shrugs shoulders*
Guess we'll find out lol

I had good experiences with liver flushes. I felt they helped me a lot. I did the Hulda Clark one though, and that one uses grapefruit juice instead of cola.

I have heard a lot of people have good success with liver flushes.
Unfortunately I wasn't one of them. I tried one similar to the hulda clark one and had such a horrible experience with it. I was vomiting it up all night.
I felt so incredibly horrible the next day from all the throwing up and getting no sleep at all that it was really awful for me.
I think I would need something more gentle than that.
I agree that cola is never a good idea.
I found this one online which is supposed to be more gentle. It sounds like it would be. I haven't tried it though so I don't know if it works etc.

I don't know if this is more "gentle" than the Hulda Clark flush...
I have mixed feelings about these flushes. I was glad I did it because I never had a clue I had parasites (I saw some come out during the flush)... but I had excruciating pain as a result of the flush. It lasted for at least 10 days or more.
I think some possile parasite debris blocked a duct or something from doing the flush & it was awful. Debris in the liver can move around. I had to do a couple more flushes to get it to move. It was really bad.
You may want to try a liver cleansing herbal product like Stone Free (Planetary Nutritionals or something?) instead. It seemed pretty good to me.
Coke syrup is an "old timey" kind of remedy. My mother used to give it to me for nausea.

I also tried Hulda Clark's liver flush several years ago. Although I did pass many little stones (that were in my liver, gallbladder was already out) I was very ill on this cleanse. I think it is very hard on the body.
I didn't really notice any improvement afterwards.
