I was taking royal jelly. Talking about a bad memory, your post just reminded me - I had forgotten all about it. Royal jelly is what is fed to the larvae to produce a queen. I did not feel any different while using it.
Propolis is interesting.
'Propolis has a long history of use as a natural remedy for wound infection and other illnesses. Preliminary studies suggest it may be active against bacteria, viruses and other microorganisms when applied topically."
Bee pollen is the pollen from flowers. If you are allergic to the plant it was collected from then it could cause a reaction. I believe some people with hay fever use it to desensitize themselves.
I have read if you are allergic to honey bee stings, then you could react to propolis or royal jelly.
