I have tried so many things in my Detoxing.

It seems every time I take something orally to Detox, it stirs things up or what have you because I don't really get it, but I Herx.

Today, I tried French Green Clay, just 1 tsp. Within an hour I began to Herx and I mean Hard. I was already Herxing but took nothing today that would make it worse. I was holding off on treatment yesterday and today to Detox.

The same has happened to me with Chlorella, Bentonite Clay, and even Charcoal.

If anyone can relate to this, I'd love to hear some feedback.

It's truly nuts !

Maybe what is really happening is that you have gastritis? Hubby has had some really weird symptoms when he had gastritis -- bart treatment finally resolved most of those issues.

He would have tremors and seizure-like episodes -- could even be triggered by just drinking water. Sometimes it was an almost immediate reaction and other times it could take up to 1/2 hour.

The oral detox binders may be pulling metals out of you, and this process can cause symptoms to flare.

Do you have any mercury amalgam fillings? It is my understanding that detox binders should be used with caution in people who have mercury fillings.

If you have mercury fillings, then a homeopathic remedy called Hepar Calc. Sulph. may help reduce the side-effects from taking the detox binders. I get homeopathic remedies like this from local health food stores, but you can also find them online. My favorite online homeopathy website is http://www.abchomeopathy.com (I have no financial connection with this company/website).

Taking extra vitamin C may also reduce herxing...

I hope this helps...take care,

You are not the only one, I cannot even use vitamin C. I have to start with 1/8 th of a teaspoon. But I tolerate cholestyramin compounded without and fillers.

Bea is right, there is a test for helicobacter pylori. It can make you really sick.

Derek, this is what scares me so much.....see GiGi's comments. She's saying no one should touch the metals w/o the right doc:
