I have a mouth full of fillings and never had one go off so I really doubt you could have that much metal in your body unless it was something like an artificial joint, pin to repair a broken bone, lodged bullet. . . etc

I had 16 amalgams and a metal plate in my jaw... I used to travel by plane quite often. Never set off a metal detector.

But I doubt you could have that much metal in your body. Besides, if they had it set that sensitively, the metal button on your jeans would set it off.
