If so how are you treating the psoriasis?

I was on Remicade but haven't been since Oct. now they want to put me on Humira, but holding off until I see my LLMD for the first time later this month.

I have a small patch the size of a quarter behind my ear. Right now I'm just using a tee tree oil cream and a tee tree oil shampoo that keeps it in check.

You do not want to go on an immune suppressant such as Humira. That would be a disaster in the long run, if you have Lyme Disease. I am sure the Remicade did not help you out any either.

Krill Oil may improve it somewhat, but not cure it. I have tried many different methods to resolve my spot of Psoriasis. Nothing really touched it, until I started taking probiotics.

It has not gone away, but it did improve quite a bit using the probiotics. I have only taken them for two weeks, so it may continue to improve. I do not know at this time.

Psoriasis is related to the flora of the intestinal tract. It is not a local infection.

That is what I know so far. My Psoriasis started as a result of Crohn's Disease. That also strongly indicates an intestinal problem is the cause of Psoriasis.

Low Dose Naltrexone has been used successfully for Psoriasis, and is often used as a Lyme treatment as well.

LDN did not cure my Psoriasis, so like any treatment, it does not work for everyone.

It would be an excellent choice given your current situation.

Low Dose Naltrexone boosts the immune system, instead of suppressing it.

Dan,

have you tried more than 4.5 LDN?
I want to take it twice a day now for more energy.

I take 4.5 MG once every evening, six days in a row.

I take two days off, and start over again.

I have never heard of taking it more than once a day. I suspect it would not clear the body fast enough to produce the desired effect.

I use it for Crohn's Disease.

I have been fighting "crohn's" for a little over 2 years. I think the crohn's was misdiagnosed. The dermatologist put me on Enbrel for my psoriasis 3 years ago and about 6 months or so into it is when my crohn's symptoms started. I only had one real bout with it, then the GI and derm put me on Remicade. My Mayo Dr said my Crohn's is in remission, I know some people that really have Crohn's and they are in pain once a month.

I think I've had Lyme this whole time and the Enbrel made it look like Crohn's.

On big difference between Crohn's and Lyme, as you get no herx with any Crohn's treatment.

If you get a Herx on antibiotics, frequency treatments, Herbs for Lyme, etc, that is not Crohn's Disease.

I have used large doses of MMS to treat my Crohn's. There is no way a Lymie could get away with that. The herx would have been severe.
