Hi I am a Canadian going down to the states for my first appointment tomorrow with a well known LLMD Yay!!!!!!
My question is where to get my meds. Are they cheaper in the States or should I bring them back to Canada?? I will have to pay obviously none of this is paid for but has anyone from Canada gotten reimbursed for meds through insurance?
Also what about the weekly bloodwork, do I have to get a requisition from my family doctor or would an american requisition work here in Canada?
Last question, what about a picc line? If I got one is there somewhere right over the border (I live in Niagara) I could go to to get a pic line cared for every week? Any Canadians get a picc line through an American doctor?
Thank you so much, we are leaving in a couple hours and my mind is racing. Not sure they will be able to help me with these questions at my appointment.
