My hubby has been diagnosed (positive lab tests and clinical sypmtoms) with lyme. He has been on doxycycline and amoxicillin/probencid plus the myriad of supplements from the treatment guidelines of Dr. B... He is complaining of temperature sensitivity and tingling in his hands and they are red, his face and neck are flushed as well... Is this a reaction to all these new meds, if so which one or is it a sign the meds are working. This is a different type of pain than what he usually has with his lyme flare-ups. Any suggestions?

It's called a herx... Jarisch-Herxheimer reaction. It means the meds are killing spirochetes. As they die, they throw off toxins.
It is good to "detox" .. try lemon in some water for starters.
If symptoms become worrisome, it is a good idea to call the LLMD. You don't want to be ignoring an allergic reaction. (which the redness could be a part of)
