Anyone else get sick from probenecid? After adding it to my antibiotics I have had nothing but bad nausea and throwing up.

Yes, I had a reaction-nausea then turned to rash. No more for me.

The first time I took it the room was spinning. never touched it again.
I have a question about this drug. It said on the bottle to not miss a dose, and when I never refilled it, the pharmacy called and wanted to know if I needed it filled and was I still taking it.
I have several prescriptions there and they NEVER ask about any of the other meds I take, but this one was on their radar and they wanted to know why I didn't refill it. I've had other meds I never refilled and they didn't ask about those.
Weird.

I never had an issue with it. It's an old tried and true drug basically. It's preserving higher concentrations of abx in your blood though so you may be just seeing more sides from your usual drugs.

I had a similar question, as Burrascano's guidelines say that the most common issue with the treatment is an allergy to Probenecid. So I've been reluctant to take it.

My wife started taking Probenecid since last Friday. Her LLMD told her that it keeps the abx lvels high in her blood. I think she had no problem till now.
