I tried searching before making this post on Tamiflu but I couldn't find a clear answer as to whether or not we can take it. Today after 6 days of fever and bronchitis I went to my family doc. He thinks I may have viral pneumonia since I am already on so many antibiotics. My lungs are a mess. It seems like I read somewhere that Tamiflu was a no-no for people with Lyme. While googling I found a connection to Lyme and sarcadiosis. Could I have that? Wish I could get better!

I think you have to take it early on... like in the first 3 days.
I'm sorry you are so ill. Sounds terrible.
Yes, there is a connection between Lyme and sarcoidosis. I'm not sure if your symptoms fit or not. Sounds like the flu to me.
Get well soon!

Yeah, I read the earlier the better. My doctor still prescribed it. I just wanted to be sure it wouldn't bring up live viruses or stir things up. I referred to sarcoidosis because on House Monday night the guy literally coughed up his lung. I feel that way. I thought I could fight off bronchitis and never thought I would be this sick for so long. Thanks for the post.

I personally would take it. I have some onhand in case I get the flu since I refuse to take the vaccines.

I had the flu last year and took Tamiflu starting the 3rd day. It worked like a charm. I was better in 2 days.
