Since early last fall, my hypoglycemia issues seemed to be getting better--I was down to having a middle of the night attack about once every 30 days or so. In fact, until about two weeks ago, I had gone 42 days without an attack.
However, in the middle of February I experienced what seemed to be a bad Lyme flare--I had my first anxiety attack in ages and the next day I felt just awful with aches and pains and tingling. The following week (about two weeks ago), I had my first hypoglycemia attack in 42 days. Since then, I've had about five more attacks.
I don't get it. I haven't changed anything. My diet is the same as always, and I haven't been under a lot of stress (although I will be this week--my dad is having surgery on Thursday).
I have Lyme, but I haven't been on antibiotics since last August when I had to stop because of a c. diff infection. I actually was feeling pretty good up until a few weeks ago.
I'm wondering whether the Lyme is trying to make a comeback and it's causing the hypoglycemia to act up .
Has anyone else experienced this or have any ideas?

Yes, it could be Lyme trying to resurface. Lyme is known to mess with sugar metabolism.
Diet for hypoglycemia:
Low simple carb intake Protein with every meal Protein-containing snacks every 2 hours between meals
And if you must eat simple carbs, eat them with high fiber foods and/or fats and/or proteins to help buffer the rate at which the sugar is absorbed into the bloodstream.
Chromium and Alpha Lipoic Acid can also help with blood sugar regulation.
Thyroid issues and adrenal fatigue can also impair bood sugar regulation.
