Just had an appt w/ my doc who changed my meds around. Is it normal to be prescribed three antibiotics at the same time?

Before this all I barely took an advil so maybe I'm just over thinking. It just seems like alot.

it's not at all uncommon when treating lyme disease

just make sure you are checking your liver regularly

I am on 3 antibiotics, plus one herbal antibiotic and grapefruitseed extract.

oh wow, ok. I've never seen anyone post more than two, but I haven't been here that long. My liver enzymes were slightly elevated, she's keeping an eye on that.

Yes i have been on 5-6 at the same time too. Sounds like you may be getting abx for all 3 forms of lyme. Thats the way to do it in my opinion.

Jennifer I am w/ you! I had hardly ever been on any meds at all before this diagnosis. I was shocked to be prescribed 3 antibiotics and countless supplements and never expected to be on them as long as I have (3.5 months).
