Hi. I need to go to a top notch LLMD but am a bit overwhelmed deciding who I should put my trust in.
If you know what I mean. This is my health, my life. You been there I know.
I do have a list of some of them but I am not sure how to go about it now.
I used one off the list to get my WB done but it is now obvious to me and my DH that this one will not work out for us.
So could you folks send me PM's telling me the top rated LLMD's in Washington and possibly in you opinion why they are?
I have two in mind I think may be so if you PM me I can ask you about them.
Thank you ever so much for help with this big obstacle in my progress.

Oh, and another thing that confuses me is it better to go to a ND or a MD?
I am all for using natural supplements over drugs but realize drugs are necessary by most accounts to kill the LD spirocytes.
Hope to hear from someone on this subject soon.
Thanks.

Thank you Lymetoo. I received a list in Sept 09. Do you know if there are any adds since then?
So far I have received one PM which was so wonderful to get. Hope more will follow.

- Washington is a big state. What area are you in? If near Seattle, Dr. K would be a good choice.
There are also a couple good ILADS-educated LL NDs in your area who may be able to work with you - or along with Dr. K.
I'll send a link to his most recent web site, etc.
You can call Bastyr, the ND University near Seattle for some numbers of LL NDs but don't go to just any ND - and find one established, not an intern - talk to people in the support groups, etc. It is vital for them to be extremely LL, not all are.
And, I'll say that if I had the funds, I'd see Dr. K in an instant. You can see him in the DVD of the Documentary: Under our Skin
I looked into Dr. K and for lack of a better description I found him to be a worldly, intense & highly sophisticated LLMD.
No offense but I believe he is out of my league.

LLMD's: Dr.K. and Dr. R. MD: Dr. E. That's it? Slim pick'n's I must say.
Bumping it up in case it was missed by someone that knows another LLMD.
With much gratitude for your efforts everybody.

No feedback on Dr. M. (LLND)??? Read she's trained with the best on the east coast. Still trying to decide myself. I know I don't have the funds for Dr. K.

I think you are lucky to live in WA. I would go to see Dr. K. I am flying cross country to his clinic at the end of the month. I think he is the best we've got.
Good luck with your decision.
