Has anyone tried a Salt/C Protocol? Has it helped you? If so how much salt/C did you use, how many times a day? What kind of salt did you use?

Right now, I'me mixing a 26% himilayan salt sole. Using 1 teaspoon of the sole, and 1000 mg's of Vit C 3 times per day to start.

Any suggestions...pro or con?

Thanks!

Have you checked into the yahoo group or the facebook group? There is a very specific way to use this protocol so that you have success and do not herx/get too sick from it.

When I started it I used 1g(1/4tsp) pure sea salt and 1g C ONCE a day. Stayed there for a week then went up to twice a day. I have gotten as high as 4g of each per day but had to start over due to recent relapse/illness.

You can cause a severe herx if you are not careful and do too much too soon.

You are starting at WHEY TO HIGH A DOSE. How long have you been on this dose? You should start at 1/4 tsp each equal amnts of salt and Ester C and RAMP UP SLOWLY.

As suggested you should visit the lymestrategies web site because this is the group doing the salt/c protocol.

Make sure you drink plenty of water. Are you herxing at this dose? SLOW DOWN

I just started last night....I feel kind of crappy. I'm not really feeling the "extra energy" other people posted about when they first started. Most of what I'm feeling seems to be emotional, not physical though. I'm not sure why. I had one teaspoon last night, one this morning, and one this afternoon, each with a vitamin C tablet.

I'm not sure if it's part of the Salt/C protocol, but I find that Liposomal Vitamin C is a great product and I do notice a small bit of extra energy from it.

I did salt/C for about a year and it did nothing for me. Perhaps it got rid of parasitic worms, but I wouldn't know as I never saw any. I consider it a year wasted when I should have been doing other treatments, but that is my own fault.

By the way my Lyme is now gone due to the Bionic 880, a Christian energy healer, and AI. Now I am detoxing heavy metals and chemicals and slowly but surely healing the nervous system.
