Take after a meal, so you get some fats that way.
And I'd suggest something like a tablespoon of extra virgin olive oil (use it with breads or salad). And perhaps eat some walnuts or a square of dark chocolate after dinner.
If you take fish oil, you might as well add that in too.

I'm about to start taking Carlson's Norwegian Cod Liver oil (lemon flavored) and it's supposed to be not fishy at all.
I just have to figure out what to put it on - maybe some gluten free bread or a cracker?
I am so sick of peanut butter, almond butter and avocados as well!

My daughter used to take it with a small handful of almonds, filberts, or pecans.. also a banana with a little almond butter. The easiest is a spoonful of olive oil or some halva..

I generally use peanut butter or almond butter if I take it with a low fat meal. You could also add cheese or butter to your food. That's a quick way to up the fat.
If you are sick of almond butter or peanut butter try adding some cinnamon or coco powder on top, it changes the taste and makes it a sweet treat.
