I was put on nystsatin due to blood work showing candida. Within a few days I developed horrible muscle pains in my hips and pain around the SI joint as well as constipation. My LLNP advised me to stop it for three days as I was most likely experiencing die off. I've only been off it for one day and I already feel the symptoms of a vaginal yeast infection. I have been following the candidates diet as well as taking probiotics. Not sire what to do now...

Molybdenum can help detox the die-off toxins from Candida.
Might consider searching the forum here for additional methods of getting rid of candida - there are numerous threads about herbal and other treatment options.

Thanks Razzle. I'm a little confused as prior to now I did not have any vaginal yeast symptoms. They only developed now oneday after stopping it. I never even knew I had a problem with candida.

When you say you never knew you had a problem with candida, do you crave sugar and bread? I certainly did. It was also confirmed with tests.
If you are truly dealing with candida, my opinion is to go on a noncandida diet before using drugs - that way, the load is lessened first.
I did a step-down diet - first, no sugar, but I ate sweet fruit, to get over the initial sugar craving. Then about 10 days later, I was able to start eliminating the fruit.
And of course, no bread either. It's a big change, but I noticed I felt better not craving bread and sugar.

Diflucan will kill it. I would take yeast killing herbs as well. Fermented foods help too.
There are a lot of products out there to combat yeast. The trick is to balance your gut flora with your diet and yeast herbs/candida products, probiotics, enzymes, etc.
Read everything you put on your skin or ingest. Iodized salt has sugar in it. Bacon has sugar on it. It's hidden in so many products. Even shampoo. I couldn't even tolerate the zyletol in toothpaste. It takes time to figure out how you're feeding yeast, keeping a journal helps.
I take diflucan once or twice a week to knock the yeast back (plus it works on babs), but lots of stuff in between. Also, compounded nystatin with meals (really helps). Up your probiotics too. All of this info and more have been posted before. If you do a search, you'll find it.

As mentioned in some recent posts, if you are still on abx while on nystatin, you may have an uphill battle in trying to keep the yeast at bay.
This was my case - I was on a natural anti-fungal rotation, went sugar and yeast and carb free, copious probiotics (like 400 bn), sacch. b. and prebiotics, all to no avail.
Only diflucan took care of it for me.
