I started out with 2mg and then a month later my LLMD upped it to 3 mg. The thing is she wrote the script for 100 3 mg capsules and said to take 1 or 2. I did the 3 mg for maybe a couple of weeks, but wanted to up it to help with my ulcerative colitis. So, I am taking 2 capsules now.
I know that the studies say that more than 4.5mg isn't necessary, but is it ok to take 6 mg until I run out and get the next script?

I finally found this on the ldn site: "The therapeutic dosage range for LDN is from 1.5mg to 4.5mg every night. Dosages below this range are likely to have no effect at all, and dosages above this range are likely to block endorphins for too long a period of time and interfere with its effectiveness."
Maybe I'll just ask my LLMD to write a script for 1.5mg and use that.

I decided to just empty one halfway, like Dan suggested.
I hope I get past the insomnia this time. Last time I quit at 6 wks., because it was driving me mad. I can't do it this time, because I need it to help my ulcerative colitis.
