Has anyone ever developed frequent bladder/kidney infections and thought that it could possibly be connected to LD??
I for some reason get them every couple of months it seems like and am not currently being treated for my Lyme and haven't been treated for about a year and a half now.
Just wondering if the two could be connected...Thanks

I get them .. but I think it's because I have Interstitial Cystitis.
You may want to take D-Mannose everyday to help prevent the infections. You can also use it to treat an infection.

Lyme can weaken your immune system so that you are more prone to infections. So I wouldn't be surprised

Thank you everyone. I was once told I had Intersistital Cystitis. What is cpn?
My doc gave me Bactrim for the bladder infection. If I'm not mistaken, I have seen Bactrim mentioned many times on this blog. Isn't that something people take for tratment of Lyme?
Now I'm worried I'm going to get sick from the Bactrim (herx?) I was treated once with Doxy and was terribly ill and never went back to be treated again (now which I know is the wrong thing to do). Anyways.. thanks everyone.
