I started treatment for lyme and bart on Jan 1, 2011--so it has only been 3 months. When I was taking doxy, rifampin and flagyl I was feeling pretty good.

Since I have replaced the doxy w/ ceftin (my LLNP feels ceftin is more effective than doxy) I have had a lot of fatigue.

I am not sure what is related to the actual diagnosis/herx, possible side effects of the meds and long term use of them, possible yeast.

I just wonder if anyone agrees that the Ceftin is a better choice than the doxy. I would really rather just be on the doxy since I felt better while on it. Any input??

It was a better choice for my daughter, but then again, everyone is different.

I was on doryx (time-release doxy) first and doing ok, then made great strides when my LLMD added Ceftin. I loved it.
