Last night I took my antibiotics (I take 2 doses a day) within 4 hours of each other because I had forgot to take the first dose at lunch. It's my third week on the med with little side effects, however last night I took a bath right after I took the second dose. When I got out I was extremely weak and started blacking in and out. My heart rate was weak and I'm assuming my blood preassure was really low. I wanted to go into the ER but was too weak to move. My mind was wandering in a dream like state and I felt like I was slipping in and out of a coma or something weird. Every few minutes my body would jump like I was shocked with electricity. I have had symtoms like this but not this bad. I was to the point were I just wanted out of my misery. Also, I took two drops of samento in between the antibiotics. Ive taken it for a few weeks with no symtoms other than the usual issues before I started meds. I might add that a lot of my Lyme symtoms are nuero- dizziness, confusion, balance, concentration, eyes, heart palpitations, etc. Has anyone had this happen to them? Is there anything I can do to ease this? I feel OK right now, but I don't think I can make it through another episode this bad and I'm sick of going to the ER with no help and tons of bills. Thank you

"I felt like I was slipping in and out of a coma"
"Sounds like a herx"
this is the kind of mentality that can harm you.
Please call the doctor that is treating you for Lyme and let them know about your reaction.
The other advice in this thread, to stay hydrated and maybe space out the meds, couldn't hurt.

I agree with calling your doctor. That is for sure.

Thank you all. I will call him first thing tomorrow and have not taken the Samento today and spaced the antibiotic out to see how that helps. Does anyone get really confused and dizzy when it is hot out? Today it was pretty warm-76F (compared to how its been) and I felt really dizzy and over heated when I went outside. My viens were popping up and I felt like my body couldn't regulate the temperature.

It really sounds like babesia symptoms. My daughter nearly passed out after taking an epsom salt bath. She never attempted that again. The dizziness was quite prevalent as well. Once the babesia was under control it went away. Treating parasites also helped alot.
