I forgot to mention that the urologist wants
me to take cipro anti bx for 30 days. Thats crazy. Does cripro interact with doxy? [Im on doxy now]. Is it worth taking the cipro? Or just continue on the doxy to treat the lyme?

Cipro should work well with the Doxy. It is good to always check with your LLMD though before starting any new meds.

For future reference, there is a good drug interaction checker at drugs.com. It will even let you save your list of meds so that when you're prescribed a new one you can just add it and check. Your pharmacist is also a great reference for drug interactions.

it is common to take cipro for bladder/prostate issues

it rules out somestuff...is the first part of dx before more invasive stuff

my son was on cipro and another abx for 6 months b4 they did biopsy

i'd be glad you are getting some abx since you are not really seeing an llmd

you might herx pretty bad...but try to think of it as a good thing

research on here how to detox and deal with herx-plan to rest a lot and KILL THOSE BUGS!
