has anyone found anything that has worked for their joint, muscle, and bone pain? i have tried muscle relaxants, NSAIDS, opiates, cannabis, ibuprofen, and the only thing that helps right now is sleeping and a heating pad at night. i developed a tolerance to opiates and had to stop those.

Nettles has helped me a lot with joint pain.
Homeopathy helps me with nerve pain - Hypericum is the best option, but also Causticum and Arnica are helpful.
Soaking in warm epsom salts water, taking magnesium supplements, homeopathy, and use of a heating pad are the best things I've found for muscle pain.
My DH swears by MSM for his joint pain (damaged by long-term Prednisone use)...but you have to take a high enough dose for it to work. He takes 6,000mg/day...and I've seen some people recommending up to 10,000mg/day! So if you try the MSM, be sure to start with a low dose and increase gradually until you notice a difference... Contra-indications for using MSM would be sulfite sensitivity and some kinds of methylation issues (I have both, so I stay away from MSM).
MSM may also be combined with glucosamine and/or chondroitin for maximum effect. The Glucosamine (with or without chondroitin) helps to rebuild damaged joint tissue (some clinical studies done on people with osteo-arthritis showed improved joint pain and stiffness with glucosamine supplementation).
Acupuncture or TENS treatment may help with nerve pain.
I hope this helps...take care,

The thing that helped the most was cymbalta and fentanyl patches. I also soak in a hot bath many times a day.

My LLMD has me on Ketamine syrup and topical cream. Pain is my biggest issue and she dx me with RSD. I use mostly the ketamine syrup (compounded) and tramadol in combo with a bit of mj med caps and I can at least keep a lid on the pain.
If you're interested in more info about the ketamine let me know.

Cymbalta and Neurontin help most with my joint/muscle pain. These are both fibromyalgia medicines but I was never diagnosed with fibro. Also (only if you are able to) yoga seems to be therapeutic.
