For those who took lamictal or are taking it, since 100 kicked in, wake up at 1:30 shaking every am and have light sleep till I get up. The depersonalization is so bad but I tolerate being I have no choice. Anyone the same? Is this just till it kick in (adjusting to) or a side effect. Take in pm since I tried earlier am but makes my OCD nuts. Thanks.

I know someone who took Lamictal and had the very rare side effect of aseptic meningitis. The FDA issued that warning a few months ago.

Also, if you ever have to stop the drug please do it slowiy. Stopping it too fast can cause major problems.

Can you check with your doc to see if there is an alternative drug? These are not symptoms you should have to put up with. Maybe you're not tolerating it.
