Ditto, EBV is a herpes virus (HHV-4). Candida is yeast (fungus). Totally different animals.
Candida in the gut is part of the normal digestive flora (or so I've been told).
When candida becomes too abundant and spreads into the stomach, large intestine, esophagus, mouth, that's known as candida overgrowth.
If candida overgrowth is left unchecked for too long, it can get into the bloodstream and all other parts of the body. This is referred to as systemic candida.
A number of things, Lyme, heavy metals, other toxins, by themselves can cause digestive problems, terrain issues in the stomach. Once the terrain is messed up, that's what opens the door to candida overgrowth, parasites, etc. in the gut. Hormonal imbalances also occur affecting secretion of HCL and digestive enzymes. So not only does digestion not occur efficiently, but parasites are also stealing nutrition.
When that happens, then the immune system becomes compromised. Then, viruses like Epstein-Barr, HHV-6, XMRV, Human Parvovirus show up. They were always in the body, but only become a problem when the immune system can no longer fight them.
In the link that follows, there's a story by someone who claims to have cured herself of EBV. Reading this, it's evident that this person mainly attacked candida and parasites and fixed the gut problems.
I don't doubt that story, it's very likely that it's true. If candida overgrowth was the only thing that that person was dealing with, then that therapy should work.
When there's other things such as mercury, Lyme, or other heavy toxic exposure CAUSING the gut problems, though, then you've got to lick those too.
Here's the link to that story if you're interested:
