I'm so upset! We were in Arkansas looking at a house for sale and I checked for ticks! I found some crawling on my clothes, as well as my husband and children's clothes. That was two Saturday's ago.
The following Monday I found two attached ticks...itty bitty ones that looked like freckles.

I didn't freak out... not all ticks carry Lyme right?
Well, 4 days ago one tick bite looks normal, the other one on my inner thigh has a rash around it..like a bunch of broken blood vessels. Petechiae is what my primary Doc called it.

So she thinks I may be reinfected... she doesn't know. She didn't do any bloodwork. Put me on 2 weeks of Doxy (which hurts my stomach something awful)

I was on Minocycline 200mg a day... WHY did I get this rash?!?! I'm so scared of getting as sick as I use to be, again. I can't do this again!

Dont panic, I am hearing of everyone getting bitten again this year. YOu were still on abx at the time so there should be no problems.

My hubby had lyme years ago (today his IGG still has ten positive bands. He was bitten by same, at tiny nymph is his arm a few months agao again. He was also treated with doxy and is fine!! No symptoms came back and blood work is all good (even with his IGG from the past).

He was only able to tolerate one month of the doxy before he had to stop due to his stomach too.How mch doxy you taking, 400 a day?
