I've been seeing a practioner to balance hormone. He is an MD and even wrote a book on IBS.
I was quite skeptical about hime but I have to tell you my GI symptoms are gone.
For at least 10 years I've also experienced numbing/tingling symptoms.
The one thing this Dr. checked was my iron which accoring to Labcorp was fine, according to him it wasn't where he wanted it to be.
He put me on a low dose iron suplement. Not only did it get rid of the numbing/tingling it also get rid of hot flashes.
Has anyone here ever taken iron?

There are several iron tests, like ferritin, hemoglobin, transferrin saturation, iron and the size and colour of the red blood cells (MCV, MCHC etc) and even more tests.
Which ones were a tad low?
