I am looking into buying some and was wondering if anyone had any suggestions? I saw two that interested me....

Enzymedica - Digest Gold and PhytoBio Enzymes

They seem a bit pricey though.

And what about DigestEasy? Anyone know anything about that? My GI system is all out of whack and I want something that will be effective.

I have heard good things about the Digest Gold by Enzymedica. My LLMD even okayed it as a digestive enzyme for me.

BUT my local vitamin shoppe didn't have it when I went in their store so I bought the Enzymedica Digest instead of the Digest Gold.

I have been using the Digest and do think it has been helpful. When I run out I plan to get the Digest Gold though because I do think that I still need a bit more than what I am getting from the Digest.

Take Care!
Pam :-)

Sick since 10/2001. Tested CDC positive for Lyme 10/2008 through Quest and Igenex. Started treatment 1/2009 with LLMD. Lyme, Erichilosis, Chlamydophila Pneumoniae, Q Fever, Strep Syndrome and probably a few others I am forgetting.

I "second" Canefan.
What I like about the Rainbow LIght enzyme products is that some of them have marshmallow root and peppermint leaf. YOu will need to check the label. And yes as Canefan said they are broad spectrum.

I think the marshmallow root is very helpful in supporting the gut lining during abx therapy.

Caution: www.healthy.net take marshmallow root three hours apart from medication, it may "theoretically" interfere with drug absorption

Best wishes, CI ps don't know the other products and sure can't counter any LLMD's advice, stick with what your LLMD says.

I've been happy with Enzymedica - Digest Gold. They also make Gluten-Ease. Sometimes when I splurge on something with gluten I'll take Gluten-Ease and have no stomach upsets after eating a slice of pizza or danish.

I just started taking Digest Gold which I purchased from my local Whole Foods. The people in Whole Foods told me that it's there #1 purchased digestive enzyme. As per its label, it contains all of the necessary pancreatic enzymes that most people are looking for to assist with digestion/absorption of nutrients.... Seems to be working for me...

Check out NOW brand "digest platinum". It is full spectrum, compare it to the Digest Gold. It costs about $30 for a 40day supply on iherb.com. I recently switched and am very pleased with it.
