OMG! I have been on 1 tsp. Mepron twice daily for months and never felt any depression. After increasing dose to 1-1/2 tsp 2 days ago, I feel so sad and depressed...totally hopeless. I am supposed to gradually increase to 2 tsp.

Also experiencing back and neck pain, feet hurting, legs aching, still having night sweats and fatigue.

I only weigh 105 lbs. since losing weight from lyme & parasites.

How long did you take 2 tsp BID? Is babs gone?

Oh yes! I am on the 1t. 2x per day. I think the depression and other symptoms I experienced were just the same as jennie46. If you can just know it is the drug it does help. Hang in there! I have taken it for a long time and it has helped me go from bedridden to almost normal. It is so worth it.

Watch for severe depression-like suicidal. My LLMD says that patients that get depressed can stop the drug for a little while and restart. This usually eliminates the depression.

Still water:

my llmd also used it on me as a challenge. I have been on for almost 2 months with NO CHANGE.

Does this mean I probably dont have babs?

I dont have symptoms of it and had a negative test.

The only symptom I had was air hunger which was just discovered to me a vocal chord abnormality that cause me to feel like I can't get enough air.

Probably Lyme related as it attacks my nerves :/

I am not nearly as depressed now, but my head feels full, slightly dizzy at times, flutters in ears. Arthritis in fingers is also worse.

Is this all part of babs herx?
