should have thrown this question in with the thyroid one. I occasionally take dexedrine to give me some energy, and to help control my appetite since weight gain with Lyme sometimes happens. Is taking dexedrine ok when you have Lyme disease? if not why? thanks

I have been on Adderall xr since before the Lyme. Or at least before I knew I had it. I am an ADD kinda fellow. Adderall used to make me think well, not it just keeps me upright.
It can increase cortisol I believe, which is not good for immune function. I have considered stopping it. But then I would lose the job. So I do what I have to do.
But I have been in aggressive treatment for three years and I am not better yet. Who knows why that is?
