I am starting Bicillin injections 3x a week and Tindamax 3 days a week.
I will also start Biaxin with it which I have been on before.
I am very anxious about it and really hope they help me.
I have been sick for 4 years with periods of feeling a little better especially after 6 months of Rocephin.

LLMD seems to think that this treatment will work for me since I had positive results from Rocephin but relapsed somewhat bc I have never been completely better and I have never used a cyst buster.

My history is too long to print but I would love to hear about any experiences with Bicillin-especially positive and any suggestions for getting through them.

I am so out of it right now GTG take a nap.
Thanks
Laurie

Bicillin has been great for me. The main thing to remember with it is that it takes a long time to see results. Like 5-7 months! It made me super tired at first and more body pain too
but it has been the only drug that made my brain fog better. They do hurt at first but your bum gets used to them after awhile. I use numbing cream for 1.5 hours before and that stuff is great.

I would also want an epi pen just in case. Once its in its in, no getting it out. Make sure you and whoever is around knows how to work the epipen. Also you can have allergic reactions to your 2+ injections....Not just your first.

I would start each med a week apart so you know what is doing what. I personally would just do 2 injections the first week.

also take the med out of the fridge about an hour before you inject it, it makes it easier

I just started with Bicillin injections a month ago. I was really nervous at first, but it really wasn't bad.

Obviously, the area is going to be sore, and as heat seemed to work for me, I always put heat on the injection site after my injections.

I also always took the bicillin out of the fridge about 30 minutes before my injection.

I agree with the heat!!!

A constant sore bum is what I experience... but am only on third week of treatment. The heat really does help.

I experience body aches and Extreme fatigue 1 through 4 days after shots. (working on getting new dr... my doc has me doing 2 shots, one in each hip in one day, once a week)

I dont know what your symptoms are, but i doubt you will see anything significant with 6 weeks. But he did say it was a start right? So maybe they would continue after that if its going well. But i wouldnt settle for less than 3 months. i did them at 2.4 mu 3x a week for 14 months! I mean that is super aggressive and i am large. But i didnt notice any improvements until around months 5-6.

I am now pregnant and do 1.2 mu 3x a week and that has been 2-3 months and continue indefinitely..

Bicillin is not for those in a hurry
