Has anyone had a positive experience with this? What brand and where did you get it? Does it leave a garlic taste?

I believe GiGi said it alone pretty much cured her Lyme (Biopure brand).

Gatorade, I lived and breathed garlic for several years. That and removing dental infections, no more root canals, and detoxing metals (which continues to this day) got me well.
It has got to be organically grown freeze dried garlic. In the meantime, we have several other agents that work alongside. Read a few of my posts. Health of teeth is primary. Bad wisdom teeth sites, even if wisdom teeth gone) will keep people very ill. Close heart connection with wisdom teeth.
Seek is right. But of super importance was the addition of Allergie Immun to help clear out toxic metals that were not readily leaving before. My minerals only at that point started to adjust - and without minerals there is no health and no life.
Check out my posts about hairtests. And the Babuschka Principle I posted about. Treat parasites.
Got to run.

I have been on many things and Allicin (Zhang) was a tremendous help. I never herxedfrom this I just improved. I am extremely toxic, always herx, a new have severe candida issues.
The garlic taste burnt my tongue and you could always taste it. It also makes you smell horribly, along with the entire house, but the good for me outweighs the bad. I hope you give it a try because it worked wonders on me.
Take care, Lindsay

I totally dig Allimax. No other allicin-concentrated compound has done anything for me. Pricey, but yahoo for this product.
BTW, no garlicky odor or taste or burping- it's pure allicin and comes in small, easy to swallow capsules.

Very small herxes regarding Lyme and company, though for viruses (colds and such) I like it very much. I have the capsules and well as the throat spray.

GiGi are you cured of Lyme disease?
And for the others: What allicin product are you taking? How often and for what length of time? What is the effectiveness? Has anything helped you more? If so, what? And how much?

ks90, yes, happily so - for many years. Neuro from top to bottom with brain fog galore. Never want to see it again. Am detoxing toxic metals with little symptoms - result of Allergie Immun therapy. You need to pay attention to treating parasites - with pharmaceuticals that also cross the bbb. Fry Lab at Dr. K. seminar today telling the identical story. And don't forget to get teeth in order also.
Good luck.
Good luck and listen to what I have been posting for 11 years.

I took Zhang's allicin for a couple of months. It leaves a wretched taste in your mouth; gets to the point that opening the bottle made me gag. People can smell you from 20 feet away. I read most people cannot tolerate it longer than two weeks.
I took it along with the other recommended herbs. When I could no longer tolerate it, I used another one of his herbs. I got sick again so it didn't seem to work. Went back on ABX.

GIGI, if I understand you correctly, you believe the only way to rid yourself of parasites is by using pharmaceuticals? None of the natural products are capable of doing this?
Could you tell me what the pharmaceuticals are that get rid of parasites? I'd be concerned about side effects. Almost every abx affected me in a bad way except for amoxy.
Most pharmaceuticals and me don't get along very well. However, I want to get rid of these parasites, so if I have to take pharmaceuticals I'm willing to give it a shot.
I do have parasites because I can actually see them the next day after doing a coffee enema. They're pretty disgusting looking animals. I'm sure I have parasites that can't be seen with the naked eye as well.
I'm taking GAIA Para-Shield. Just started yesterday and today I've noticed an improvement on my left side abdominal pain. Maybe it's just a fluke, or maybe this stuff is working. Time will tell.
