for the past 5 days my right ear and right side of the head feels stuffed. It feels it needs to be popped and when i breathe it tickels and makes weird throbbing noises.

Does anyone get that and does it go away?

What meds are you on? Zithromax and Minocycline can cause tinnitus. It can also be caused by Lyme, Bart and other TBI's.

I have it in both ears..it has gotten better with treatment..but it persists.

I have this for several years now; I have to sleep with a box fan on full at night to drown out the ringing. I think it's a chronic fungal infection from taking ABX.

Do you get ear pain at times ?
Do you have thrush?

Ginkgo relieves tinitis for me during the day. I just take 1 ginkgo capsule in the morning and then have no ringing until evening when it's a lot quieter than it was before I started ginkgo. I'd also like to know if there's a permanent cure for it because ginkgo helps, it doesn't cure it.

Is ear pain related to fungal infection do you think? I have ringing in my right ear only too. It was one of my first lyme symptoms and it hasn't gone away. I, too, sleep with a fan on. I have ear pain as well.
